A native of Chapel Hill, NC, Seth Rubin decided to open Rise & Shine Biscuit Kitchen and Cafe out of hunger for true, Southern buttermilk biscuits like he used to get at home.  Inspired by the purveyors of biscuits throughout the South, Seth put together a business plan on a scrap of paper, lost it, and set out to create a little piece of home in Denver, with zero experience or background in the food service industry.  Rise & Shine opened for business January 1, 2010 and has been serving some of the best biscuits in town ever since.
